In 1920s Hollywood, Don, a star of silent films (Gene Kelly) falls in love with a chorus girl (Debbie Reynolds). Don’s jealous screen partner is not impressed. A light-hearted spoof on the turmoil that affected the film industry when movies went from silent to sound. (Musical Com, 1952, 103 mins, USA).
