HR402 Understand Advanced Care Planning

About this event

Instructor: Connie Jorsvik

Advance Care Planning is the umbrella term for documentation that allows you to plan for a time when you cannot speak for yourself due to a serious illness or dementia. There will be an introduction to terms used to describe heroics and resuscitation that we will use when writing a Letter of Wishes. You will leave with links and instructions for completing the necessary Advance Care Planning documents.

Connie brings 25 years of experience as a nurse in the BC healthcare system, and 15 years of facilitating workshops.

Don't miss out on her other workshops in this four-part series:
HR401 Navigating the BC Healthcare System
HR403 Understanding Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD)
HR404 Understanding Resuscitation & Heroics
