In-kind donations are generally non-financial gifts such as clothing, toys or jewelry. That being said, we don't accept every in-kind donation.

Clothing
Men’s or women’s clothing and accessories from any era.
Jewelry
Fashion, vintage, antique or estate. Contact Mary at maryf@telus.net if you have questions.
Toys, games and puzzles
China, crystal, silverware, kitchen ware, serving dishes, glassware (no chips or cracks, please). Christmas and other ornaments, holiday items. Unopened gifts such as beauty products. Baby things, children’s books.
Art supplies
604-616-1790 if Friday morning is not possible.If storage for your art supplies is somehow vanishing, here is a good opportunity for you to declutter! Maybe there’s dust collecting on the pencil set you purchased four years ago. Perhaps there’s an ageing canvas, you know the one that is never the right size for your next painting? What about your collection of unused paints, paint brushes or palettes? You are welcome to drop off donations of art books, any unused art supplies in good condition and saleable wall art in the art room on Friday mornings. Contact Beverly Grice at
Plants and garden items
BH Gardeners seek outdoor plants from outside the Regulated Area; indoor plants; garden items such as planters, bird houses, small tables, clean garden tools in good condition. To arrange for delivery of plants, email bhsgardeners@gmail.com. Other garden-related items may be left in the foyer.
Any plants that we cannot confirm as coming from outside the Regulated Area will have to be destroyed.
In-kind drop off
Unless otherwise specified, items can be dropped off Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm (closed stat holidays) at Brock House, 3875 Point Grey Rd, Vancouver.

What we really need right now
Outdoor furniture
Any gently used lawn or patio furniture, or a financial gift towards their purchase, specifically coffee table, couch-style seating, or chaise longue. Drop off at the office or contact communications@brockhousesociety.com.

Book donations for the library
Please note that we do not take more than 10 books at one time, delivered in person to the library. Paperbacks are preferred.
We can ONLY accept the following:
- Fiction and mysteries published within the past five years.
- Non-fiction—biographies and history only.
