To edit the text in the left column, highlight and select the text and either type or paste in from a plain text editor. Do not paste from Word or a rich text editor as the formatting may be inserted. To insert a link in the right hand column, click in an empty space and use the Link Builder tool accessed from the editor toolbar. Links will automatically format. To change or replace the image, right click and select replace image from the context menu.To insert a caption in the right column, click in an empty space beneath a photo, and type your caption. You can use the text editing tools above to alter the text size and weight if necessary

Acting
The Brock House Players is a weekly drop-in group focused on improving acting skills and presenting occasional performances.
Arts & Crafts
Brock House Society offers weekly drop-in sessions in painting (including the porcelain painters) and needle crafts, and seasonal instructor-led courses.
Bridge
There is a variety of play from absolute beginner to instruction in more advanced Bridge techniques.
Computers
Brock House Society has an open computer lab and offers hands-on assistance at the weekly drop-in. Computer courses are held each season.
Special Events
Once or twice per month there are special events for members and guests; lectures, music, gardening and seasonal celebrations all are featured.
Fitness & Health
There are two member-led walking groups and many fitness courses including: Osteofit, Yoga, and Zumba; seasonal favourites include lawn bowling and golf.
Food Service
Food service is available in the Conservatory Monday through Friday. Lunch is available from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
Friday Flicks
Come in for lunch and a movie! The cafeteria normally features Fish & Chips as the hot entrée and the films are thought provoking.
Fundraisers
The Summer and Christmas Fairs feature products made and donated by members and others. Other fundraising efforts are held periodically throughout the year.
Games
Billiards and Table Tennis tables are located in the basement. There are weekly drop-in sessions for other games including Chess, Mah Jong and Scrabble.
Intellectual Pursuits
Brock House Society prides itself on the quality of moderated discussions and lectures. There are several to chose from each week.
Languages
Brock House Society offers tiered courses in French and there is a Spanish conversation group.
Music
In addition to the musical events, there are several performing groups from the Big Band to the Monday Sing-a-Long. The Choir and Handbell groups are affiliated with, and meet at, the Kerrisdale Seniors’ Centre.
Services for Seniors
As a seniors’ centre, Brock House Society offers information sessions on topics vital to our members.
Social Groups
The After-Hours Dining group meets monthly for gourmet meals and conversation.
Tours
Throughout the year, Brock House Society offers members the opportunity to join seniors from other organizations on excursions to attractions outside Vancouver.
Woodworking
Brock House Society has a fully equipped workshop on the grounds which is available daily to our members. Woodworkers are a multi-talented group producing beautiful items for sale at our fundraisers and offering some custom services.
Written Word
Writing and the study of literature is the focus of the weekly groups and courses. The annual Esther Birney Literature Lecture Series is presented in the Fall. Brock House Society also has a lending library with daily newspapers.
